Kerryn has years of experience as a presenter and key note speaker.
She shares her personal journey of surviving a life-threatening flesh eating bacteria against all odds and acquiring a permanent disability. Included are some important messages and strategies around fitness and health, goal setting, adapting, acceptance, gratitude, and following your passions. Strategies that enabled Kerryn to firstly survive, then recover physically, mentally and emotionally.
Kerryns story of finding the courage to begin life again as an upper limb amputee is powerful. From a triumphant return to her favourite sport of triathlon, to forging a new career, opening her own business, and creating a charity to empower amputees in life through sport, every milestone reached gave her the confidence to strive for more.
Kerryn engages and connects with her audience by speaking honestly and openly from the heart, with raw emotion and plenty of humour thrown in for balance. She will have you both laughing and crying, sometimes at the same time!
